Welcome to Hillsdale Farms.
Join us while we start our very own vegetable family farm. I'm overwhelmed and so excited all at the same time. This year we are starting small and hope to grow larger in the coming years.
My son built a little greenhouse to start our year off. We currently have approximately 60+ plants started that, fingers crossed, will start producing in June.
In the meantime the plants are quickly growing indoors waiting for the moment they can be out in the sun and fresh air. I also need my dining room table back.
Some of the crops we'll be growing this year are:
Cucumbers
Zucchini
Tomatoes
Bell Peppers
Yellow onion
Garlic
Strawberries
Assorted herbs
I will share more pictures, what worked, what didn't work, etc. Hopefully you will share your experiences and together we can learn to be successful.
For now more rain is on the way so we will wait......
